Kristen Hamsley, DVM
An accomplished graduate of the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2015, Dr. Hamsley was led to a career in veterinary medicine because it offers the ideal balance between pursuing her passion for science, nurturing her love for animals and educating people about their pet's health. All facets of veterinary medicine are intriguing to Dr. Hamsley, but she is particularly drawn to diagnostic imaging, clinical pathology and surgery. When Dr. Hamsley is not pursuing her professional passions, she lives a full life enjoying her many hobbies including baking artesian bread, cooking and entertaining friends. Her physical pursuits include swimming, cycling, yoga and weight training. Proving her status as a truly well-rounded individual, Dr. Hamsley marched piccolo in UGA’s Redcoat Marching Band and still keeps music a central part of her life by being an accomplished flutist and attending concerts in her free time.
